The Honiton 729 Club, a registered local charity, which uses the CUB building on Monday evenings from 7pm to 9pm – a social / friendly club for adults with a learning disability.
We’ve been using the CUB building for nearly 20 years – it’s a safe, secure and friendly environment where our members of ages 16+ and up into their late 80’s come and enjoy themselves.
We have on average 65-70 people every Monday – which includes volunteers, enablers, support workers and of course most importantly our members. The geographical radius that some of our members travel, come from Luppit, Sidmouth, Budleigh, Woodbury through to Axminster.
The club offers members a night out with different activities which include: bingo, movie nights, club nights, disco and live entertainment. Without our invaluable volunteers, the club might not open every Monday – so we are always happy to invite new volunteers to help out in our tuck shop. To meet and greet our members or just be a friendly face.
